Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965) is an American actress from the United States. Her most well-known part is as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won an Emmy Award in 2010 and she also won a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. After the end of the seventh season the series was cancelled on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick was born in New York City to Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), who is a speech/family therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick who is a venture capitalist. Her mother, who was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian origins. Sedgwick has openly declared her Jewish heritage and said that she participates in Passover seders.
